.Net Developer
SCI is looking for an exceptional individual to join our team as a .Net Developer in our Markham Office. The .Net Developer will be responsible for participating in the development and maintenance of our current and next-generation product by working with the Business Analysts, Software Architects and fellow Developers. As the successful candidate, you are recognized for your strong programming skills, attention to detail, and abilities as a problem solver.

Senior Operations Analyst
Reporting to the Manager of Saas Operations, and supported by junior staff members, the Senior Operations Analyst will be accountable for the strategy, planning, deployment and operational management of company systems and hardware.
Duties of this position include:
• Working with Manager to research, and recommend hardware products and configurations, and conduct feasibility studies and testing.
• Creating system performance models, specifications, diagrams and charts
• Analyzing day to day software and database functions to ensure optimum performance
• Identifying and resolving operating system issues and preparing reports, and making recommendations to address existing and potential issues\
• Working with external hosting provider to ensure maintenance of services, and prevention of system outages.
• Acting as first point of contact for daily activities and issues, escalating to manager as needed.
Skills required for this role:
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate at the appropriate technical level given the target audience.
• Ability to provide guidance and/or instruction to junior staff members
Work Experience / Education Recommendations:
• University degree in computer science or information systems with 5+ years experience
• Proven experience in the operation and analysis of database hardware, software and standards
• Experience in maintaining and tuning SQL, Linux and DB2 databases
• Experience installing, configuring and maintaining Unix servers, networks and clusters
• Hands on experience troubleshooting hardware and with infrastructure design and operational excellence
